Planning Division Organizes Training on Budget Preparation for Fiscal Year 2026

On July 23, 2025, the Planning Division, University of Phayao, organized a training session on budget preparation for Fiscal Year 2026.
The objective of this training was to provide information and prepare participants for entering expense items and projects into the Setbudget system in accordance with the Annual Action Plan for FY 2026, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
The training focused on three types of projects:
- Projects aligned with the University of Phayao’s strategic plan
- Projects aligned with faculty strategies
- Regular (routine) projects
Training Activities Included:
- Q&A session on planning and budgeting, with special prizes for the top 5 scorers, and an introduction to the Flagship KPI Award for best practices in strategic and budget management using the e-Budget system, presented by Mr. Ritthichai Maneetip, Head of Strategic Information Unit.
- A lecture on the three project types (routine, university strategic, and faculty strategic projects) by Asst. Prof. Dr. Sorawit Boonyathee, Assistant to the President.
- Hands-on training on using the Setbudget system for FY 2026 budget preparation, including system testing, conducted by Mr. Supachai Janta-uttam, Computer Technical Officer.
Participants were also asked to complete a satisfaction survey regarding the e-Budget system services.
The training was held at the Borwon Rattanaprasit Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Office of the President Building, University of Phayao.
