On April 26, 2023, the University of Phayao, through the Planning Office, held the 8th Meeting (1/2566) of the Risk Management, Internal Control, and Transparency Committee. The meeting was led by the President of the University of Phayao (Chair), the Vice President for Policy and Planning (Committee Member and Secretary), the Vice President for Corporate Communications (Committee Member), the Vice President for Academic Affairs (Committee Member), the Vice President for Student Quality (Committee Member), the Vice President for Environment and Landscape (Committee Member), the Vice President for Legal Affairs and Property (Committee Member), the Head of Academic Departments (Committee Member), the Assistant Vice President (Committee Member), and the Head of University Administration (Committee Member), along with Assistant Professor Dr. Sarayod Rarueangjai (Committee Member and Assistant Secretary), the Head of Risk Management and Transparency Support (Assistant Secretary), and the supporting secretarial team.
Objectives of the Meeting:

To present for approval the information on the Open Data Integrity and Transparency Assessment (OIT) for the University of Phayao for Fiscal Year 2023, along with suggestions for improvements on each indicator. This data will be entered into the ITAS system of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) and submitted for approval to the university's management.

To report on the assessment of integrity and transparency in the operations of internal units at the University of Phayao (UP Integrity and Transparency Assessment: UP ITA) for Fiscal Year 2023, according to the UP ITA system. Additionally, to share knowledge and improve operations related to integrity and transparency for Fiscal Year 2023 and the subsequent year in collaboration with the network of internal units at the University of Phayao, aiming to strengthen integrity, ethics, and transparency among staff at all levels and to promote continuous awareness and compliance.
In this regard, 39 internal units at the University of Phayao participated in the assessment of integrity and transparency in operations (UP ITA) for Fiscal Year 2023. Of these, 7 units received an AA rating, 23 units received an A rating, and 8 units received a B rating.
During this meeting, the President of the University of Phayao awarded certificates of excellence to the units with outstanding integrity and transparency assessment results (UP ITA) for Fiscal Year 2023 at the AA, A, and Outstanding Development levels, to encourage and motivate the units that participated in the assessment and to promote adherence to integrity and transparency in their operations according to the assessment results.

Outstanding Development Units in Learning and Development (Higher Rating than Fiscal Year 2022 in Each Unit Category): 2 units, namely the Legal Affairs Office and Faculty of Energy and Environment.
The executives of the University of Phayao, along with heads of academic departments and administrative units, participated in a photo session receiving certificates and symbolically expressing their commitment to combating corruption. The President also instructed department heads to ensure that their staff adhere to principles of integrity, ethics, transparency, and good governance, fostering a sustainable organizational culture.
