On July 27, 2023, the Planning Division, led by the Director of the Planning Division along with its personnel, organized a project to strengthen ethics and good governance in the organization and to continue the tradition of offering candles for Buddhist Lent at Wat Pa Phra Ubalī, Mae Ka Subdistrict, Mueang Phayao District, Phayao Province. The objective of this project was to build a framework for ethics, promote values of honesty and integrity, and foster harmony within the organization, based on religious principles, the philosophy of sufficiency economy, and the positive aspects of Thai culture. It also aimed to preserve and promote the tradition of offering candles for Buddhist Lent to maintain and enrich the cultural heritage of Thailand.
The activities of this event were supported by Phra Khru Phisit Sorrakarn, who gave a Dharma talk on "Applying Buddhist Principles for Developing Ethics in Daily Life and Enhancing Good Governance in the Organization" to the personnel of the Planning Division.
During the Dharma talk, Phra Khru Phisit Sorrakarn engaged in discussions and answered questions from the personnel regarding insights from religious principles and the philosophy of sufficiency economy, which should be continuously upheld and practiced in daily life and work to develop personnel holistically in body, mind, and intellect.
At the end of the event, the executives and personnel of the Planning Division participated in offering candles, traditional Thai offerings, and rain ceremony cloths in accordance with Thai cultural traditions.
