Planning Division Holds 9th Meeting of the Risk Management, Internal Control, and Transparency Committee

On December 16, 2023, the Planning Division organized the 9th meeting (2/2566) of the Risk Management, Internal Control, and Transparency Committee at L807 Meeting Room, 8th Floor, College of Management, University of Phayao, located at Wave Place, Vithayu Road, Lumpini, Pathumwan, Bangkok, and via electronic media. The meeting was led by Dr. Somkiat Chobphol (Chairman of the Risk Management Committee), along with committee members including:

• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Warakorn Samkoses (Committee Member)
• Assoc. Prof. Dr. Kraiwoot Kiattikorn (Committee Member)
• Mr. Anek Meemongkol (Committee Member)
• Vice President for Policy and Planning (Committee Secretary)
• Assistant Vice President, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarayod Raraengjai (Assistant Secretary)
• Director of the Planning Division (Assistant Secretary)
• Secretariat Staff

Invited guests included the President of the University of Phayao, Vice President for Research and Innovation, Vice President for Corporate Communication, Vice President for Academic Affairs, Vice President for Student Quality, Vice President for Environment and Landscape, and Vice President for Legal Affairs and Assets. A total of 17 attendees participated in person, while 1 joined via electronic media.

Objectives of the Meeting

The purpose of the meeting was to present the following for consideration:

1. Report on the implementation of the risk management and internal control plan (RM-R12) at the university level for the 12-month period of the fiscal year 2023.
2. Report on internal control at the university level for the fiscal year 2023.
3. Risk management and internal control plan (RM-Plan) at the university level for the fiscal year 2024.

The committee collaboratively reviewed the information and provided recommendations regarding the risk management plan (RM-Plan) for the fiscal year 2024. The Planning Division will coordinate with relevant internal units at the University of Phayao to consider adjusting the plan based on the suggestions before submitting the report to the University of Phayao's Audit Committee and the University Council for further consideration.
