On April 18, 2024, the Planning Division of the University of Phayao organized a training program on developing strategic operational plans. The event was inaugurated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Pongsabangpo, President of the University of Phayao. The primary objective of this program was to provide university executives, policy analysts, and planning staff with knowledge on creating strategic plans, operational plans, and translating those strategies into actionable initiatives. The training also covered the implementation of operational strategies and performance measurement systems, offering principles and guidelines for aligning faculty/departmental development with the overall direction of the university. This effort aims to achieve the university's vision of “Creating Knowledge and Innovating for Global Communities Sustainably.”
The training was conducted by Ms. Natphat Lopraditpong, a National Quality Award assessor, who served as the guest speaker. The event was attended by 150 participants, including the university president, vice presidents, deans, deputy deans, policy analysts, and planning officers. The program was held in the Muang Phayao Meeting Room (ICT 1247) at the Information and Communication Technology Building, University of Phayao.
