On April 23, 2024, the University of Phayao, through its Planning Division, held the 12th meeting of the University’s Risk Management, Internal Control, and Transparency Committee (2/2024). The meeting took place in the ICT Meeting Room on the 3rd floor of the Information and Communication Technology Building. The session was chaired by the University President, with attendance from vice presidents, academic department heads, assistant presidents, administrative heads, and the Vice President for Policy and Planning, who served as both committee member and secretary. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Sarayod Raerengjai, Assistant President, and the Director of the Planning Division were also present as committee members and assistant secretaries, along with support staff.
Objectives of the Meeting:

Approval of Public Data Disclosure (OIT) for 2024: The committee discussed and approved the university’s public data disclosure (Open Data Integrity and Transparency Assessment: OIT) for the fiscal year 2024, providing feedback for improvement in each indicator. This data will be uploaded into the ITAS system of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC) and submitted for executive approval.

Review of the Draft UP ITA Results: The committee reviewed the draft results of the University of Phayao’s internal integrity and transparency assessments (UP Integrity and Transparency Assessment: UP ITA) for 2024. A total of 40 units participated in the evaluation, which comprised three parts: internal stakeholder perception (IIT), external stakeholder perception (EIT), and public data disclosure (OIT), in accordance with the NACC’s evaluation criteria.

Collaboration on Improvement and Development: The meeting facilitated knowledge exchange and collective development of strategies to enhance integrity and transparency for 2024 and beyond. This collaboration aimed to strengthen ethical standards and transparency within the university, ensuring active participation at all staff levels. Additionally, the meeting emphasized the importance of continuous awareness and adherence to these principles.
