On April 24, 2024, at the multipurpose area behind the Office of the President building, the Planning Division, led by Assistant Professor Dr. Sarayos Rarueangchai, Assistant to the President, Dr. Sorawit Boonyathi, Assistant to the President, and Ms. Thitiporn Maneejansuk, Acting Director of the Planning Division, along with the division staff, participated in the traditional "Rod Nam Dam Hua" ceremony. This ceremony was held to pay respect to the university president and senior members during the University of Phayao’s Songkran Festival 2024.
The event aimed to show respect to respected elders, seek forgiveness, and receive blessings for good fortune. It also served as a way to preserve and promote the continuity of local cultural traditions.
