The "Workshop on Risk Management and Internal Control" took place on October 24-25, 2024, at the Active Learning Classroom in the CE Building, University of Phayao. The objective was to raise awareness and preparedness within the university and its various departments, supporting them in strategic planning and the development of risk management and internal control plans. This included practical exercises to identify gaps in risk management and internal control plans, as well as monitoring and evaluating performance following the COSO Enterprise Risk Management (ERM 2017) framework to effectively address potential uncertainties that may impact the university's mission-driven goals.
The workshop aimed to empower the university and its departments to adapt to diverse risks and new opportunities, fostering a culture that values proper risk management and internal controls. The event was honored by guest speaker Dr. Natapat Lopraditpong, a National Quality Award assessor.
