On December 9, 2024, the President of University of Phayao assigned the Legal and Planning Department, represented by Ms. Chayada Janeid, Head of Risk Management and Transparency Support, Planning Department, as the representative of the University President. As a committee member of the implementation committee according to the master plan under the national strategy on anti-corruption and misconduct in Phayao Province, according to Order No. 5878/2022 dated November 10, 2022, they attended the International Anti-Corruption Day (Thailand) event under the concept "FIGHT AGAINST CORRUPTION - Fight to the End, Stop Cheating" to represent the university's commitment to standing against all forms of corruption. The event was attended by 73 organizations and networks from all sectors of Phayao Province and Thailand.
The event was honored by Mr. Ratpol Naradit, the Governor of Phayao Province, who presided over the International Anti-Corruption Day (Thailand) event held at the Phukamyao Conference Room, 5th Floor, Phayao Provincial Hall.
The purpose of participating in this activity is to express the organization’s commitment and stance along with all network partners that "The management and personnel of the University of Phayao stand firmly against all forms of corruption." They expressed their commitment to continuously and concretely solving corruption issues and jointly driving a sustainable anti-corruption movement in society. They also showed anti-corruption symbols together with network partners.
International Anti-Corruption Day (Thailand) is held annually on December 9th, with the cooperation of the government, the Office of the National Anti-Corruption Commission (NACC), the Office of the Public Sector Anti-Corruption Commission (PACC), the International Anti-Corruption Organization (Thailand), and network partners from all sectors nationwide. The event is broadcast live through the NACC Facebook Fanpage and the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand (NBT). The goal is to inform Thai and international audiences about Thailand's fight against corruption and the anti-corruption commitment of all sectors.
