On December 14, 2024, the Planning Department held the 3rd (1/2024) Governance Committee Meeting of the University of Phayao at the Buffalo Village Tongna Cottage Natural Resort in Chiang Mai Province, and via electronic media. The meeting was led by Dr. Somkiat Chopphon (Chairman), General Paisal Ngamwongwan (Member), Dr. Chulapong Thawisri (Member), Mr. Kriengkrai Chongcharoen (Member), Prof. Dr. Samer Thanoy (Vice President for Research and Innovation), Asst. Prof. Prathompong Thongrod (Vice President for Legal and Property Affairs), the Vice President for Policy and Planning (Member and Secretary), the Director of the Planning Department (Assistant Secretary), the Head of Risk Management and Transparency Support (Assistant Secretary), the secretariat team, along with the meeting explainer, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Phongsabangpho (President of University of Phayao).
The purpose of the meeting was to present the following matters for the committee's approval:

Report on the governance operations of the University of Phayao for the fiscal year 2024

Governance operation plan for the University of Phayao for the fiscal year 2025
The committee extensively considered these matters and approved the information as presented. The Planning Department will then present the governance operations for the fiscal years 2024 - 2025 to the University Council of Phayao for acknowledgment.
