On February 13, 2025, the President of the University of Phayao, together with university executives and staff, including Vice Presidents, Deans, Directors, Heads of Departments, and personnel, collectively demonstrated the organization's commitment by declaring adherence to the No Gift Policy for the fiscal year 2025. They also participated in a symbolic photograph affirming their stance against corruption during the 140th University of Phayao Executive Board Meeting (3/2025) held at the Bawon Rattanapisit Meeting Room, 2nd Floor, Office of the President Building, University of Phayao.
This initiative aims to foster an ethical organizational culture, ensuring that executives and staff at all levels reject all forms of gifts and gratuities in their official duties, in alignment with anti-corruption efforts. The policy supports the university’s integrity and transparency framework, ensuring that governance is continuously strengthened and concretely implemented.
During the meeting, the President of the University of Phayao outlined the policy framework and provided directives on implementing the No Gift Policy across all departments. This follows the university's official Declaration on the Commitment to Not Giving or Receiving Gifts and Gratuities in the Performance of Duties (No Gift Policy) for Fiscal Year 2025, issued on January 7, 2025. The announcement emphasizes that executives and department heads must ensure full awareness and compliance with the policy across all personnel.
Furthermore, the President, executives, department heads, and staff jointly reaffirmed their commitment to the principle:
"The University of Phayao is an institution where all executives and personnel shall neither give nor receive gifts or gratuities in their official duties (No Gift Policy), whether before, during, or after their duties, in any festival or occasion, in ways that may lead to corruption or misconduct. Additionally, we pledge not to support or engage in any form of corruption or malpractice. We commit to upholding the highest ethical standards and the Code of Conduct of the University of Phayao while fostering public trust through transparent operations, leading towards an enduring culture of integrity within the organization."
