On Tuesday, March 8, 2022, the Office of Planning organized a training session on the "TQA Executive Concept for Performance Excellence." The event was inaugurated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, and featured a keynote lecture by Mr. Suwit Jensawadphong, Manager of the Organizational Management Division at the Thailand Productivity Institute. He provided an overview of the Thailand Quality Award (TQA/EdPEx), guidelines for establishing task forces, organizational development strategies, and the principles of TQA criteria from categories 1-6 and category 7.
The training aimed to equip participants with knowledge and understanding of the core principles of the TQA framework and strategic management, allowing them to apply these insights to further organizational development towards EdPEx200. The University of Phayao is committed to achieving external quality evaluation based on the EdPEx200 criteria and the Thailand Quality Class (TQC) standards from the 2022 academic year onward.
A total of 240 participants, including administrators, faculty members, and staff, attended the training, which was conducted online via Zoom.
