The Planning Division of the University of Phayao organized a workshop titled “Workshop on Understanding Criteria and Organizational Frameworks and Related Outcomes” from May 17 to May 19, 2022. The session was inaugurated by Associate Professor Dr. Supakorn Pongbangpho, President of the University of Phayao, and featured a presentation by Mr. Suvit Jansaswatpong, Organizational Management Manager at the National Productivity Institute. The workshop focused on clarifying key aspects such as Category 3 (Customers), Category 1 (Leadership), and Category 2 (Strategy), aligning them with organizational frameworks and related outcomes.
The goal of this workshop was to advance organizational quality and education standards, positioning the University of Phayao to be recognized nationally and internationally. It encouraged faculties and internal departments to adopt the EdPEx (Education Criteria for Performance Excellence) and Thailand Quality Award (TQA) criteria to improve organizational quality and achieve strategic goals. This would enhance outcomes and increase competitiveness. The university aims to implement the EdPEx200 and Thailand Quality Class (TQC) criteria for external educational quality assessments from the 2022 academic year onwards.
The workshop was attended by 140 participants, including executives, academic personnel, and support staff from various faculties and departments of the University of Phayao. The event took place at the Muang Phayao Conference Room (ICT1247) in the Information and Communication Technology Building and was also accessible via Microsoft Teams.
