The Planning Division at the University of Phayao organized a workshop titled "Understanding Criteria and Their Connection with Organizational Frameworks and Outcomes" from May 30 to June 1, 2022. The training focused on Criteria Categories 4 (Measurement, Analysis, and Knowledge Management), 6 (Operations), and 5 (Workforce). The workshop was led by Mr. Suwit Jainsawasdipong, Organizational Management Consultant at the Thailand Productivity Institute, who delivered sessions on understanding these categories and their connection to organizational frameworks and outcomes.
The objective of this workshop was to improve organizational and educational quality to enhance the university’s reputation at both national and international levels. The training encouraged faculties and internal units to adopt the Educational Criteria for Performance Excellence (EdPEx) and the Thailand Quality Award (TQA) to drive organizational development, improve outcomes, and boost competitiveness. The University of Phayao aims to be assessed under EdPEx200 and the Thailand Quality Class (TQC) framework starting from the 2022 academic year.
A total of 160 participants, including executives, academic staff, and administrative personnel from various faculties and departments within the university, attended the event. The workshop was held at the Muang Phayao Conference Room (ICT1247) in the Information and Communication Technology Building and was also accessible online via Microsoft Teams.
