From June 6 to 8, 2022, the Planning Division's Strategic Planning Unit organized a Knowledge Management (KM) project focusing on the strategic development of the university in alignment with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The purpose of this project was to enhance understanding of the SDGs and to develop projects based on the action plan on the BCG Platform to connect outcomes to the SDGs for the network of policy and planning analysts at the University of Phayao.
The event was inaugurated by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Thitirath Chiewsuwan, Vice President for Policy and Planning, who also provided management policies regarding planning activities. The workshop featured esteemed guest speaker Khun Nichakarn Thramthach from the United Nations Development Programme (UNDP), who delivered practical lectures on the SDGs in a hybrid format. Additionally, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ratphum Phromna gave a presentation on developing projects according to the action plan on the BCG Platform to connect outcomes to the SDGs.
The main objectives were to provide knowledge and understanding of the SDGs and the BCG Platform to policy and planning analysts at the University of Phayao. The BCG Platform promotes holistic economic development, including Bioeconomy, Circular Economy, and Green Economy, which can be integrated into projects based on the action plan for efficient and effective operations.
The event was held at Le Meridien Resort and Spa in Mueang District, Chiang Rai Province.
