On Monday, August 15, 2022, Ms. Thitiporn Maneejansuk, Acting Director of the Office of Planning at the University of Phayao, along with staff members, wore traditional Thai blue attire to honor Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, the Queen Mother, on the occasion of her 90th birthday on August 12, 2022. This gesture is a tribute to her dedication and tireless efforts in promoting "Thai fabrics" over the years, reviving local textiles that had almost disappeared and helping them regain popularity. This initiative has created jobs and income, leading to an improved quality of life for the community.
