Planning Division Holds the 2nd Meeting of the University of Phayao Governance Committee (2/2022)

On October 27, 2022, the University of Phayao assigned the Planning Division to organize the 2nd meeting of the University of Phayao Governance Committee (2/2022) via electronic media using Microsoft Teams in the Baworn Rattanapisit Conference Room, 2nd Floor, Office of the President, University of Phayao.

Participants in the online meeting included Professor Emeritus Athapol Yaisawang, Chair of the Governance Committee (Vice President of the University Council of Phayao), General Payasal Ngamwongwan, Governance Committee Member (External Expert), Dr. Julapong Thaweesri, Governance Committee Member (External Expert), and Assistant to the President, Assistant Professor Dr. Chattip Chaiyakan (Presenter).

Attendees at the Baworn Rattanapisit Conference Room included the Vice President for Finance and Corporate Communications, Governance Committee Member; the Vice President for Legal Affairs and Property, Governance Committee Member; along with the Vice President for Policy and Planning, Committee Member and Secretary of the Governance Committee, and Ms. Chayada Jeanieat, Assistant Secretary. The meeting was honored by the attendance of the President of the University of Phayao, who participated in presenting the university's operations in governance activities for the fiscal year 2022.

The purpose of the meeting was to present the governance performance report of the University of Phayao for the fiscal year 2022 for consideration by the Governance Committee in accordance with the provisions of the Higher Education Act B.E. 2562, Sections 19 and 21, in conjunction with the University of Phayao's regulations on governance B.E. 2564, Articles 6 and 9. These regulations stipulate that the University Council, executives, and staff must adhere to the ten principles of good governance, which include principles of effectiveness, efficiency, responsiveness, accountability, transparency, rule of law, equality, participation or consensus-seeking, decentralization, and ethics.

The Planning Division will subsequently submit the governance performance report of the University of Phayao for the fiscal year 2022 to the University Council of Phayao.
